1. Selling AI Prompt Packs

What It Is

Creating and selling curated collections of prompts optimized for specific use cases — business writing, coding, marketing, education, creative work.

Realistic Income

• Beginner (months 1-3): $200-$800/month
• Established (months 4-8): $1,000-$5,000/month
• Top sellers: $5,000-$20,000/month

How to Start

1. Pick a niche: Don’t sell “general prompts.” Specialize. “ChatGPT prompts for real estate agents” sells better than “100 ChatGPT prompts.”
2. Build your first pack: Create 10-20 prompts that solve a specific workflow. Test each one across multiple models. Document how to use them.
3. Choose a platform: Gumroad is the easiest. PromptBase is purpose-built. Your own website gives the highest margins.
4. Create demo content: Show before/after examples of your prompts in action. Screenshots, videos, real output samples.
5. Market consistently: Share free prompt tips on social media. Each tip funnels to your paid packs.

Why It Works

Prompt packs are digital products with zero marginal cost. Create once, sell forever. And the market is growing — more people are using AI, and most don’t have time to optimize their prompts.

Pro tip: Bundle related packs and offer them at a discount. Our data shows bundles convert at 3x the rate of individual packs.

2. AI Consulting for Small Businesses

What It Is

Helping small businesses integrate AI tools into their existing workflows — setting up automated email responses, creating content systems, building custom GPTs, optimizing operations.

Realistic Income

• Per project: $500-$5,000 depending on complexity
• Monthly retainer: $500-$2,000 per client
• With 3-5 regular clients: $3,000-$10,000/month

How to Start

1. Audit a business for free: Approach a local business and offer a free “AI opportunity audit.” Identify 3-5 areas where AI could save them time or money.
2. Start with one project: Pick the highest-impact, easiest-to-implement opportunity. Deliver results. Use it as a case study.
3. Build a service package: “AI Integration Sprint” — a 2-week engagement where you set up and train the team on AI tools.
4. Ask for referrals: Satisfied clients refer other businesses. This is the primary growth channel.

Why It Works

Small businesses know they should be using AI but don’t know how. They’re willing to pay someone who can translate the technology into practical business improvements. The key is speaking their language — ROI, time saved, cost reduced — not technical jargon.
