Performance Review & Career Development Conversation Starter Pack

The Performance Review & Career Development Conversation Starter Pack gives managers and team leads a ready‑to‑run set of AI prompts that turn a routine annual review into a focused development session. By feeding the prompts into any leading model (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) you receive structured drafts for self‑assessments, performance narratives, feedback scripts, goal‑setting frameworks, and career‑path discussions. The result is a concrete, reusable toolkit that saves time, reduces awkwardness, and keeps the conversation centered on measurable growth.

What You Get

• 10 expert‑crafted AI prompts that work with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other leading models, each targeting a specific stage of the review process.
• Prompt categories covering self‑assessment preparation, performance‑review narrative building, constructive‑feedback scripting, goal‑setting frameworks, career‑path discussions, and follow‑up action planning, so you can address every part of a development conversation without writing from scratch.
• Template placeholders such as {{role}}, {{company}}, {{review_type}}, {{employee_name}}, {{employee_role}}, {{team_name}}, and {{review_period}} that you replace with your own details, ensuring each output matches your organization’s context.

How to Use

• Copy the desired prompt into the chat window of your chosen AI model.
• Replace every placeholder variable with the relevant employee, role, team, and review information.
• Run the prompt; the model returns a draft document, conversation script, or goal‑setting outline tailored to the inputs you provided.
• Review the generated text, edit for tone or specificity as needed, and use it directly in your performance‑review meeting or development planning session.
• Repeat the process for each phase of the review cycle—pre‑review self‑assessment, manager narrative, feedback conversation, goal definition, and post‑review follow‑up—to maintain consistency and focus throughout the year.

Who This Is For

• Managers who conduct regular performance reviews and need a structured starting point for each conversation.
• Team leads responsible for delivering feedback and defining development objectives for their reports.
• HR professionals who facilitate career‑development discussions across multiple departments and want a repeatable framework.
• Individual contributors preparing self‑assessments or seeking guidance on framing career goals for upcoming reviews.
