Shadcn TurboKit for Cursor: AI‑Generated Component Library

Shadcn TurboKit for Cursor gives you a ready‑to‑import set of Shadcn UI components that are already wired with Tailwind classes and calibrated prompts for Cursor. By replacing manual component assembly, you cut the time spent on styling inconsistencies and prompt tweaking from hours to minutes, letting you focus on feature development rather than UI scaffolding.

What You Get

• TurboKit.components.tsx – a collection of pre‑wired Shadcn components, each paired with Tailwind utilities that match the default theme.
• theme.tokens.json – a single source of design tokens (colors, spacing, fonts) to keep styling uniform across all components.
• cursor.prompts.txt – a curated set of prompts that improve the accuracy of AI‑generated component code when used in Cursor.
• layouts/ – ready‑made layout files that demonstrate typical page structures and can be dropped into a project to accelerate prototyping.
• README.md – a concise guide covering installation, configuration, and best practices for integrating the kit into your workflow.

How to Use

• Clone or download the repository and place the TurboKit.components.tsx file into your project’s component directory.
• Import the theme.tokens.json file into your Tailwind configuration to replace the default token values.
• Copy the prompts from cursor.prompts.txt into Cursor’s prompt library; they are formatted to generate components that match the shipped styles.
• Reference the layout files in layouts/ as starting points for new pages, adjusting the component hierarchy as needed.
• Follow the step‑by‑step instructions in README.md to verify that the components render correctly and to troubleshoot any integration issues.

Who This Is For

• Frontend engineers who build with Shadcn UI and Tailwind inside Cursor and need a repeatable component base.
• Development teams that want to reduce the manual effort of reconciling AI‑generated code with project styling guidelines.
• Product designers who collaborate closely with developers and require a shared token set to keep visual language consistent.
• Any project that values rapid prototyping over repetitive UI setup, allowing resources to be allocated to core functionality.
