CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is the standard academic performance metric across Indian universities, but employers, government job notifications, and graduate school applications still express eligibility in percentage terms. Because each university calibrates its 10-point scale differently — using conversion multipliers ranging from 9.5 to 10 — a single universal formula does not apply, and using the wrong one can misrepresent academic standing.
